WHY ARE SCHOOL PHYSICAL EXAMS IN TEXAS NEEDED?

With more than 46 million kids participating in sports each year, making sure children are fit to play is the most important step in getting ready for the big game. School physicals are largely used by athlete leagues and schools all over Texas.

Athletes are required to undertake a physical exam at least six weeks before the start of sports season. This timing provides an opportunity to address any existing injury with a visit to a center for urgent care for kids prior to participation in the activity.
